I found the perfect knee high boots for me and ordered them promptly so I can stop stealing my mother and sister's boots.

My mom suggest I blog some of the cute things I find so I thought I would starting right before Christmas. So these are just some general things I have found recently.

My first Christmas in Manhattan Beach and I found out they decorate the pier and they celebrate Christmas with a night of fireworks!

Cupcakes with Juli

Yesterday was National Cupcake Day! I didn't know but my friend Juli visited me on her drive up to the bay and we got delicious cupcakes from a place called Cupcake Couture. They had cute cupcakes, cakes, cake pops and dog treats. I love my sweets.

I also have gotten obsessed more than ever with the Free People down here but can't wait to go back to the bay and see all my friends. Friends and family are the most important part of the holiday season! XO

Thanksgiving

I spent Thanksgiving with my boyfriend and family in Manhattan Beach. The weather was beautiful and my boyfriend, a cook, cooked the most delicious Thanksgiving dinner I've ever had. He also taught me how to play Call of Duty and we went to a see Tower Heist at an ArcLight Cinema which had assigned seating it was a fun new experience.

Red Cup Season

I am so happy it is this time of year again, it means the holidays are close! I slept in until three pm today because it was raining and too cozy to get out of bed. I then went grocery shopping and got my favorite peppermint hot chocolate from Starbucks and finished my short day with some laundry. I watched a cute movie called Like Crazy and am watching the third season of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Successful lazy Sunday. #RedCups

Movies

I watched Crazy, Stupid, Love this weekend and had also recently seen Easy A and decided I loved Emma Stone in those movies. I also saw Friends with Benefits and loved Mila Kunis. She has been one of my favorite actresses since That 70's Show and also her more recent movie Black Swan.

Current Craving: Chocolate Milkshakes

My friends from PA visited the other weekend and it was just what I needed. We got lunch at Johnny Rockets and I had this delicious chocolate milkshake. Lately I have been craving milkshakes like no other. Today I got a chocolate with cookie dough milkshake from Cold Stone Creamery something I used to always get during the summers before work. I am going to try to change my eating habits and eat more healthy foods and have less chocolate in my diet. Since it is apple season I am going to try different types of apples. First apple I tried: honey crisp apples. They were delicious, next on my list are pink lady apples!

This past weekend I took a much needed trip home. My mother and I took a trip to Pinkberry and my sister and I shared laughs as she taught me about the hilarious website damnyouautocorrect. We also dressed up in cool patterned maxi dresses and went downtown and explored the Manhattan Beach Fair.

I have a little bit of a sweet tooth

This weekend I got the middle of my ear pierced and attempted to be healthy by eating some fruit. I started organizing my room and I hung all my scarfs up next to my closet. I have also become obsessed with fall fashion issues of magazines, Vogue was probably my favorite, it kept me occupied for a very good length of time.
